Bong Go caravan

BACOLOD CITY – More than 500 vehicles joined a caravan in Negros Occidental in support of Senator Bong Go who is running for vice president under the PDP-Laban Cusi wing on Saturday, November 6.

According to Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer, the vehicles came from the second and third districts in the north, and fourth and fifth districts in the south of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.

The vehicles, which were decorated with Bong Go tarpaulins converged in Bacolod City before dispersing, Ferrer said.

He said he along with former Rep. Alfredo Benitez, Rep. Stephen Paduano (AbangLingkod Partylist), mayors and supporters of the senator organized the caravan on short notice.

“We, along with the beneficiaries of Go’s assistance to Negros, wanted to show our support for him,” Ferrer said.

The caravan of support, he said, was their way of thanking Go for projects that provided medical assistance for the poor, and financial aid to indigent and displaced workers in Negros Occidental.

Ferrer thanked all those who joined the initial caravan for Go.
