MANILA, Philippines — The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the COVID-19 mix-and-match clinical trials, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) announced Friday.
DOST Undersecretary Rowena Guevara said the FDA approved the clinical trials on November 16.
(The regulatory review for the mix-and-match of COVID-19 vaccines has finally finished and the application for clinical trials has been approved by the FDA last November 16.)
(The screening of participants for the trial also began the following day at their trial site in Marikina.)
The dry run for the mix-and-match clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines started in October this year.
