CITY OF CALAPAN – A man was arrested on Tuesday evening in a buy-bust operation in Puerto Galera town in Oriental Mindoro province, according to a report from the police provincial office.
Eric Garachico, 38, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. by police after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) for P500 to a poseur buyer in a beach resort where he was employed as a cleaner in Barangay San Isidro.
Seized from the suspect were four sachets of shabu weighing about 32 grams and valued at P2,176.
Garachico, a resident of Barangay Balatero, is under police custody and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
