Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez finally got to enjoy their first Boracay trip together as husband and wife, a month after they tied the knot.
The couple can be seen lounging next to each other at the beach as well as enjoying desserts at a resort, as shown on Abellana’s Instagram page yesterday, Nov. 28. The actress also gave fans a glimpse of the room she and Rodriguez stayed in at a Boracay resort, which featured a pool and displayed their wedding photo.
“We needed this. One of the many things to be grateful for,” Abellana said. She then told fans that the beach vacation is not her honeymoon with Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez showed himself making a sand sculpture at a private beachfront, as seen in a video on his Instagram page, also yesterday. The actor called his sculpture “The Thanos of Sand Sculptures: Goose Goose.”
He added that he enjoyed having some “freedom to play on the sand” while having “a bit more of safety during the pandemic.”
Abellana and Rodriguez got married at a church ceremony in Batangas last Oct. 23, after being in a relationship since 2014. They first worked together in the GMA drama series “My Husband’s Lover” back in 2013. JB
